Terms & Conditions

By reserving and/or receiving your rentals, you agree to the following terms and policies:

📅 Delivery & Pickup

  • Standard delivery occurs up to 1 day before the event and pickup is 1 day after, between 9AM–4PM for no additional rental fees. Extended rental is available for prorated rental fees.

  • High-volume seasons may affect this schedule. You’ll be contacted if any changes are necessary.

  • Delivery is to the nearest accessible location from the truck. Setup or special handling must be arranged in advance.

  • Extra fees apply for:

    • Walking distance over 50 ft

    • More than 5 steps or stairs

    • Limited dolly access, gravel, sand, dirt, elevators, or hills

    • Setup/Breakdown requests not prearranged

    • If the above apply but are not arranged in advance, a premium fee of 3x the standard rate will apply if services are available at the time of deliver/pick-up. Otherwise, a return fee will apply if a second trip is necessary.

💳 Payments, Deposits & Cancellations

  • 50% deposit required to reserve. Of this, 25% is non-refundable if not cancelled 7 days before scheduled delivery date.

  • Final balance due:

    • 7 days before scheduled delivery.

  • Cancellation Policy:

    • 6+ days prior: 25% cancellation fee

    • 3–5 days prior: 50% cancellation fee

    • 1–2 days prior: 100% non-refundable

  • Orders are non-refundable if cancelled within 24 hours of delivery or pickup.

  • Credit card on file will be charged for damages, losses, or unpaid balances.

🧾 Equipment Use & Responsibility

  • Rental items are charged regardless of use.

  • All items remain property of OCPR. Do not remove stickers/labels.

  • Items must not be moved from original delivery location without permission.

  • Customer must inspect items at delivery and report any issues immediately.

  • Malfunctions: Contact us at (949) 707-7092 — after hours prompts connect to on-call staff. Do not attempt repairs.

  • Customer assumes all risks and liabilities, including injury or property damage.

  • Customer may not sublease or loan equipment.

🔧 Care & Return of Equipment

  • All equipment must be returned in original condition and properly packed.

  • Tables, chairs, and linens must be broken down and stacked unless setup service was arranged.

  • Damaged or dirty items beyond normal wear will be billed:

    • Dishware/Glassware not rinsed: $0.15/item cleaning fee

    • Linens must be returned dry and debris-free. Do not bag damp linens.

      • Replacement charges apply for mildew, stains, burns, or tears

    • Lost or broken items: billed at full replacement cost

  • Equipment must be kept safe from theft, sprinklers, and weather exposure.

  • Do not cook under or near tent tops. Customer assumes all tent-related cleaning or damage costs.

🐾 Site Requirements & Safety

  • Site must be clear of obstacles before delivery.

  • Pets must be restrained during delivery/pickup. Remove all pet waste from setup area.

  • Customer is responsible for obtaining permits unless OCPR is hired to do so (3-week minimum notice required). Any fines or citations that result from unauthorized set-ups or city ordinances are the client’s responsibility and will be billed to the card on file.

  • Staking tents may damage underground utilities. Client assumes responsibility for any such damage.

  • Tents are temporary shade structures and not waterproof. They must be evacuated during extreme weather.

  • OCPR is not liable for damage or loss due to weather.

🔄 Will Call Orders

  • Pickup/Return Times:

    • Mon–Fri: 9AM–4PM | Sat: 9AM–12PM

    • No Sunday Will Call

  • Bring your own tie-downs/blankets for safe transport.

  • Items not returned on time will accrue daily rental fees.

  • Assistance with loading is courtesy only; OCPR is not liable for any damage or injury during Will Call loading/unloading.

📦 Loss, Damage & Inspection

  • Items not returned or damaged beyond repair will be billed at full replacement cost.

  • Any equipment damage (including water/sprinkler exposure) is the customer’s responsibility.

  • Do not allow unqualified individuals to operate rental items.

  • Customer must regularly inspect rental items during possession. Any unreported damages may be the customer’s liability if identified upon receipt of the items.

🛑 Liability & Legal

  • Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless OCPR for any damages or legal claims related to use of rentals.

  • OCPR is not liable for incidental or consequential damages or delays.

  • Any dispute requiring legal action entitles the prevailing party to recover legal fees and costs.

📱 Text Message Consent

By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive delivery, pickup, and urgent updates via text from Orange County Party Rentals.

🎯 Final Reminders

  • Mark and remove all personal and third-party items before pickup to avoid confusion.

  • Missing items not part of OCPR’s inventory are not OCPR's responsibility.

  • Any items returned late will continue to accrue rental fees daily until received.

  • By signing or paying for your order, you acknowledge and agree to all terms outlined above.
